We have a team of lawyers with expertise in water law, which allows us to perform a strategic analysis and adequate planning for different local and international companies in the mining, agro-industrial, hydroelectric and industrial industries. The experience of our team allows us to have a thorough knowledge of this natural resource, with special focus on the diversity of uses.

We represent our clients in the processing of new water rights, in the acquisition of these, and in the negotiation of complex water supply contracts for projects of all kinds. We approach the protection of water rights through a periodic follow-up procedure of third party applications filed in areas of interest to our clients, as well as their use under environmental regulations. This also implies recursive stages for the protection of the resource, especially for administrative measures that may affect its use and availability, as well as judicial instances for its due protection and perfection.

For a more efficient productive use of the resource, we also represent our clients in the optimization of water use rights, including the processing of water catchment transfers and restitutions, changes of supply source, authorization of water intakes and hydraulic works, and water disposal. We also have extensive experience in the environmental assessment of projects, with a special focus on the treatment of water resources, with a multidisciplinary approach. In addition, we have a team of experts in the processing of inspection and sanctioning processes in these matters.
