Law No. 21,741: Advances in Urban Land Regularization and Management

If you require more information, please contact: On April 26th, Law No. 21.741 was published in the Official Gazette, which amends several legal bodies in order to address urgent urban phenomena consolidated in the territory that affect the population.

This new law provides the Administration with better tools to deal effectively and preventively with urgent urban and territorial situations affecting the population. In this regard, it amends a series of regulatory bodies, including Law No. 16,282, which establishes permanent provisions in the event of earthquakes or catastrophes, Law No. 16,741, which establishes rules for the regularization of title deeds and urbanization of irregular settlements, Law No. 20,234, which establishes a procedure for the regularization and regularization of lots and the Law on land management for social and urban integration and Emergency Housing Plan, contained in Article 4 of Law No. 21,450.
