In the academic field, he is professor of Labor Procedural Law and Labor Oral Trial, Labor Law Department, Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile; professor of Corporate Labor Law, LL.M., Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile; and professor of Labor Law for undergraduate and postgraduate courses, Universidad del Desarrollo. He is also a member of the Chilean Society of Labor and Social Security Law.
