To pursue his master’s studies, Juan José obtained Fulbright (2018) and Dean’s Graduate Award scholarships from New York University (2019). As part of his professional experience, he was a lawyer in the Litigation Division of the National Economic Prosecutor’s Office (2016-2019). In this position, he participated in several contentious proceedings before the Antitrust Court and the Supreme Court in cases related to illegal collusion, unilateral conducts, gun jumping and/or early implementation of concentration operations, among others.
Senior associate, member of the areas of antitrust, consumer law and compliance. He specializes in the analysis of concentration operations and infringement conducts regulated by Decree Law No. 211, representation of clients in administrative proceedings before the National Economic Prosecutor’s Office, or in contentious and non-contentious proceedings before the Antitrust Court and the Supreme Court. He has also represented clients in administrative and judicial proceedings related to the Consumer Law (Law No. 19,496), and provided advice related to the design, implementation and execution of compliance programs related to Law No. 20,393 and free competition.
