In the academic field, he is a professor of Civil Law at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. Since 2010 he was assistant professor of the same chair. He also teaches several diploma courses at the same university.
Benjamín is a partner and member of the litigation and arbitration area. Additionally, he leads the consumer law practice and is a member of the venture capital department. He specializes in highly complex controversies, successfully representing his clients before the ordinary courts, arbitration tribunals and superior courts of justice. He also has experience in insolvency proceedings, complex negotiations, and civil and commercial contracting.
He is an expert in arbitration of corporate, construction, infrastructure and agribusiness disputes, and in structuring, developing and implementing preventive strategies to comply with consumer law regulations. Additionally, in the area of venture capital, he represents investors and entrepreneurs in the field of dispute resolution.
